Fairune is an action adventure video game developed by Skipmore published by Gamedesign and released as a free browser game in 2009. The game was written in Flash and is the first game in the Fairune series. The game was completely remade in 2013 as a full-length game with the same title. When the Fairune Collection was released in 2018, it included a Windows remake called Fairune Origin with redrawn graphics.
In the game, an evil villain imprisoned long ago is about to awake unless the heroine can find four fairies to keep him locked in place. You must seek the fairies in the now hostile wilderness using bump combat to defeat the monsters. The game appears influenced by early Japanese action adventure games like Hydlide and Ys.
