Licensed games are usually made on a very tight schedule to coincide with the release of the product, resulting in a shoddy game which is rarely enjoyable. When I was a child, the allure of the tie-in to the brand often tricked me into buy terrible games, but now, after being burned by so many bad licensed games, I almost never buy or even bother trying to play them.
