The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is the first book in the Hitchhiker's series of books written by Douglas Adams. The book follows the sad life of Arthur Dent as he fails to score chicks, loses his house, and watches the entire Earth get demolished to make way for a hyperspace bypass.

Adams' does a wonderful job of pointing out all the silly things that alien creatures do and the reader has a good laugh at their silliness until they realize that they do something awfully similar.

I'd heard about this book for years before finally seeing a cheap collection of the series at a B. Dalton. I loved the series ever since.

You are asked a question about the Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster by the wizard in the adventure game Hugo's House of Horrors.
