This is a list of Halloween-themed media that is important to me. Being my second-favorite holiday as a child, and my favorite as an adult, I've been a fan of Halloween fiction my whole life.

Books / Writing

How to Haunt a House for Halloween	Instructions for how to make a haunted house.
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow	Although it doesn't directly include Halloween, much of the story is about an autumn harvest festival.

The Crow	Most of the events take place on Devil's Night, the night before Halloween.
The Halloween Tree	An animated adaption of Ray Brabury's book.
Halloween with the New Addams Family	I remember seeing this on TV near Halloween.
Hocus Pocus	My favorite Halloween movie.
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow Disney film	An animated adaption of the book, actually mentions Halloween.
The Nightmare Before Christmas	A mishmash of a Christmas and Halloween film.

American Dad!: Best Little Horror House in Langley Falls	The series has several Halloween episodes.
Bob's Burgers: Full Bars, Fort Night, Tina and the Real Ghost	This show has a lot of good Halloween episodes.
Freaks and Geeks: Tricks and Treats	Despite taking place in Michigan on Halloween, it's a bright sunny warm afternoon while Trick-or-treating.
Futurama: The Honking	Parody's several horror novels including Dracula and Christine.
The I.T. Crowd: The Haunting of Bill Crouse	Not really about Halloween, but with spooky themes and released near the holiday.
It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown	My second-favorite Halloween special.
Garfield's Halloween Adventure	My favorite Halloween TV special.
Loony Tunes: A-Haunting We Will Go, Claws for Alarm, A Witch's Tangled Hare	Loony Tunes had a lot of good Halloween episodes.
Roseanne: Halloween episodes	Roseanne always had great Halloween episodes.
Saturday Night Live: David S. Punpkins sketches	A bizarrely funny Halloween sketch.
Shelley Duvall's Tall Tales and Legends: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow	A live-action adaption of the story.
The Simpsons: The Treehouse of Horrors episodes	Some of the best animated Halloween specials. I loved watching these on Halloween after trick-or-treating.
The Smurfs: All Hallows' Eve / The Littlest Witch	I remember seeing this as a child and assuming that it really wasn't possible to rain on Halloween. My mother (and nature) disabused me of that belief.
South Park: Halloween episodes	South Park's Halloween episodes get pretty dark.
Star Trek: Catspaw	Not about Halloween, but made for the Halloween scene.
Star Trek: The Next Generation: Phantasms	Likewise.

Music

Rilo Kiley - Commoner	The singer laments not having a date on Halloween.

Video Games

Borderlands: The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned	DLC made for Halloween. Adds lots of standard Halloween fare, zombies, Frankenstein's monsters, jack-o-lanterns, etc.
Costume Quest	An RPG that takes place on Halloween night. Very well-made.
Hill Climb Racing	Includes a Halloween track.
Hugo's House of Horrors	Appears to take place near Halloween.
