The Savage Empire, also known by its full title, Worlds of Ultima: The Savage Empire, is a role-playing video game developed and published by Origin Systems and released for MS-DOS in 1990 and later ported to other platforms. It is the first game in the Ultima: Worlds of Adventure series. It uses a modified version of the Ultima VI Engine. The story revolves around the Avatar in a lost valley occupied by dinosaurs and prehistoric tribes, like in Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World.

Documentation
Like most Origin titles, the game's manual was very well-made, and the game came with a detailed map.
