My friend Kimberly bought this album right after it was released, and, she and I quickly sampled the songs. Neither of we were impressed with it right away, however, it slowly began to grow on me, and I especially like the music videos released by ''[[Everything (song)|Everything]]'' and ''[[Eight Easy Steps]]''. A girl was dating during or around the time of the release of the album was a big Alanis fan and she and I both talked about the songs as well, no doubt adding to my appreciation. So-Called Chaos is the fourth international studio album by Alanis Morissette. It was published on 2004-05-18. It was produced by Morissette, Tim Thorney, and John Shanks. The songs are primarily alternative rock and feature less angst than her previous albums, and more growth, healing, and forgiveness.
