I wasn't a huge fan of this song the first time I heard it, but it quickly grew on me and became one of my favorites by the band, in particular because is describes a past time that I delighted in once I got a car: driving around at night with no place to go, and singing to myself. I even drove beaters, one with a broken off side-view mirror. I no longer drive old broken-down cars, but I still love this song, especially when driving alone, and feeling the need to clear my head with some speed.
I don't care much for the art on the single. It's not very fitting.
