After learning about the band Nightwish, I began looking for more of their work and found several songs from this album. For awhile, I was smitten with the the songs Nemo, Planet Hell, and Wish I Had an Angel, playing them on repeat over and over again. A few of the songs on the album I haven't really given a chance, and I need to go back to listen to them to properly rank them.

Original album cover.

Once is a symphonic metal album by Nightwish, their fifth studio release, published 2004-06-07. The album has a much higher production value that previous Nightwish albums, adding orchestras and choirs to the symphonic metal songs, giving them an epic scope.

Status
