No Need to Argue is the second studio album by The Cranberries. It was recorded from November 1993 to August 1994, produced by Stephen Street, and published by Island Records on CD and cassette on 1994-10-03. The songs are primarily alternative rock and deal with the Troubles in Ireland, relationships, and family. The album was extremely popular in the mid-1990s, reaching the top ten in over a 20 charts around the world and eventually selling over 17,000,000 copies.

Personal

Due to the popularity of the song Zombie on the radio, my friend Kevin bought the album and I remember making fun of the band's name, and, when he played the album, the vocals of O'Riordan. This led to a fight between us, and, after he told me the Irish music was important to him because of his Irish heritage, and, after listening to it several times with him and my older brother, the album slowly grew on me enough to buy it myself in the late 1990s. I remember listening to it on the weekends in the morning while showering, and, having direct access to it really allowed me to appreciate the album. It's my favorite Cranberries album, however, the dark themes and semi-caustic sound make it difficult for me to listen to it unless I'm in the right mood.

I own this album on CD.
