Mega Man, known in Japan as Rockman, is a series of games, television shows, manga, and various other media created by Capcom. I first experienced the series when I played Mega Man II somewhere around 1990. For a short while, between Mega Man II and IV, I was a big fan of the series, however, I became pretty disenfranchised with the series due to the a combination of the sameness of the games and the difficulty. Unless you resort to spoilers, each game requires a lot of trial and error to determine a useful play order and then even more grinding to get good enough to survive.
