Mario is a Nintendo franchise that has become the biggest video game empire in history. It has spawned games, television shows, movies, comic books, even breakfast cereals.
My very first experience with this series was from a game of Vs. Super Mario Bros. at an arcade when I was around 5-years-old. I didn't know you were supposed to hit the question mark blocks, or that you could jump on the goombas. Suffice to say, I didn't get very far. I later saw Super Mario Bros. on my baby sitter's NES and though the game was really cool. To this day, I generally enjoy games from the Mario franchise, although they're rarely my favorites.
