This was one of the last of the studio albums I bought of Queen's. I was hesitant to buy it because I already knew several songs on it from compilations, and I didn't much care for the cover art. I first heard the non-single songs from the [[Crown Jewels]] boxed set my high school girlfriend bough for me, and warmed up to them very quickly. As usual, Brian's non-single songs are deep and introspective, while Roger and John's songs are nice, but mostly forgettable. I was surprised to see a small version of the the nude bicycle race poster with the sex. Later, I bought a Hollywood records CD to get the additional tracks.
