I didn't like Alanis Morissette's music when I first started hearing it on the radio. The two most popular songs were One Hand In My Pocket and Ironic, both of which I felt were obnoxious in both sound and lyrics. Years later, in an effort to broaden my music horizons, I downloaded several Alanis songs on Kazaa. Two of the ones I liked at first were Head Over Feet and You Oughta Know. Shortly thereafter, I met my friend Kimberly who was a huge Alanis Morissette fan, so I decided to listen to more of Alanis's music. I bought a couple of her albums and, though I didn't think they were amazing at first, I found a lot of the non-singles to be deep and emotional. After becoming more familiar with her work, this album has become my second favorite, and in my top-25 favorite albums. | I didn't like Alanis Morissette's music when I first started hearing it on the radio.
