I didn't like Alanis Morissette's music when I first started hearing it on the radio. The two most popular songs were [[One Hand In My Pocket]] and [[Ironic]], both of which I felt were obnoxious in both sound and lyrics. Years later, in an effort to broaden my music horizons, I downloaded several Alanis songs on Kazaa. Two of the ones I liked at first were [[Head Over Feet]] and [[You Oughta Know]]. Shortly thereafter, I met my friend Kimberly who was a huge Alanis Morissette fan, so I decided to listen to more of Alanis's music. I bought a couple of her albums and, though I didn't think they were amazing at first, I found a lot of the non-singles to be deep and emotional. After becoming more familiar with her work, this album has become my second favorite, and in my top-25 favorite albums.

Album cover.

Jagged Little Pill is a studio album by Alanis Morissette. It was produced by Glen Ballard and Alanis Morissette, and published by Maverick Records on 1995-06-13. This is technically the third studio album by Alanis, but the first of her international releases, and the first to have an alternative rock sound rather than her earlier pop style

I didn't like Alanis Morissette's music when I first started hearing it on the radio. The two most popular songs were One Hand In My Pocket and Ironic, both of which I felt were obnoxious in both sound and lyrics. Years later, in an effort to broaden my music horizons, I downloaded several Alanis songs on Kazaa. Two of the ones I liked at first were Head Over Feet and You Oughta Know.
