I Am Error is an in-depth look at the Famicom / NES from a technical and community perspective. It covers the main components of the hardware, the differences between the various models, and how programmers utilized them to create games. It's very interesting for anyone who ever tried to hack the game or wants to know how and why games worked the way they did.
