When I first bought this album, I was a bit torn on it. Before buying it, I only knew Under Pressure which I loved and Body Language, which I disliked. I enjoyed some of the heavier upbeat songs that were new to me like Staying Power and Dancer, but the new style took awhile to appreciate. However, after listening to the album several times, the songs and their style began to grow on me. Overall, this is a strong album for Freddie Mercury and John Deacon, but pretty weak for Brian May and Roger Taylor.

Personal

When I first bought this album, I was a bit torn on it. Before buying it, I only knew Under Pressure which I loved and Body Language, which I disliked. I enjoyed some of the heavier upbeat songs that were new to me like Staying Power and Dancer, but the new style took awhile to appreciate. However, after listening to the album several times, the songs and their style began to grow on me. Overall, this is a strong album for Freddie Mercury and John Deacon, but pretty weak for Brian May and Roger Taylor.

Status

I own this album on vinyl and CD.
