In my youth, both my older brother and sister were fans of Tom Petty, and this album especially. Because of this, I heard this album a fair amount growing up. Although I typically objected to their music by default as a means of individuality, over time this album grew on me. In my early 20s, I bought myself a copy and listened to it a lot. Although I find most of the songs to be a bit too repetitive, I now really like the album. Several of the songs on this album bring back memories to my early girlfriends.
