Paperback, USA.

Dude, You're Gonna Be a Dad!: How to Get (Both of You) Through the Next 9 Months is a book about dealing with pregnancy from a man's perspective. It was written by John Pfeiffer and published in 2011.

This book was gifted to me after my wife and I told our friends we were expecting.

Status

I have a paperback copy and have read it.

Review

Good

  • Overall, I found the book to be informative, although, a little basic. It covers all the main stages of pregnancy, how a mother-to-be will feel and the medical reasons for this.

Bad

  • The humor is a little too stereotypical for my tastes. I have no interest in ignoring my future children so I can watch sportsball. Now, video games on the other hand...
  • The layout has large-text quotes from sections of the book, but they're usually right next to the actual text, making them kind of useless. Also, sometimes, there is unique content in the same large text, so you can't know for sure if you can skip it. Kind of annoying.

Ugly

  • Nothing.
