The Atari 2600 typeface.

Controller Font is a series of freeware typefaces created by Dean Tersigni which contain glyphs for the various buttons, dials, and switches found on video game controllers. The purpose is to provide the designers of game documentation with all the graphics they will need to demonstrate button combinations for manuals, hint books, and other publications. The ultimate goal is to have a typeface for every popular controller for every video game platform.

For example, if a designer wanted to illustrate how to perform Ryu's Hadoken fireball in Street Fighter II: The World Warrior on an SNES, they could display it as so: Controller Font - Hadoken Example.svg.
