The album contains dramatizations of three Christmas-themed stories: A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, and The Fir-Tree and The Little Match Girl, both by Hans Christian Andersen.

My mother owned this album and I can remember listening to it as a child from around 1987-1989. This was my first encounter with each of the three stories and I remember enjoying the cover art while I listened to it. I didn't hear the album again until 2023 when I found a recording on YouTube, but, only the A-side.

Cover
Like with so many of Peter Pan records, the album's art was created by George Peed. The cover of the album can be punched out and bent away from the album cover to be stood up as a holiday decoration, though it's just blank cardboard on the other side.
