Youth Group was listed as a favorite band on the MySpace page of a girl I admired, so I downloaded the album. The mellow sound and melancholy lyrics in these songs sit very well with me. The songs on this album have this amazing soothing sound that is just snappy enough for you to want to listen to, but not too overbearing that it can't be kept to the background. It's really a step up from their previous album, [[Skeleton Jar]], which was too bland for my taste. The USA release is missing the track "Let It Go", so be sure to get the Australian import if you plan on buying it. | Youth Group was listed as a favorite band on the MySpace page of a girl I admired, so I downloaded the album. Casino Twilight Dogs is the third studio album from Youth Group. It was produced by Wayne Connolly and published by Ivy League Records and ANTI-/Epitaph Records on 2006-07-15.
It's really a step up from their previous album, Skeleton Jar, which was too bland for my taste. The USA release is missing the track "Let It Go", so be sure to get the Australian import if you plan on buying it.
One thing I don't like about this album is the title, which appears to be just three random words.
