Bionic Commando, known in Japan as Top Secret, is a game universe created by Capcom with its first game being released in 1987. In addition to games, the universe includes a couple comic books, soundtracks, action figures, and various other forms of merchandise.
Personal
My first experience with the series was in the late 1980s with the NES game, which is also my favorite game in the series. Unfortunately, Capcom has never really treated the game with the respect it deserves, and most of the games in the series have just been remakes or concept games. They tried to reboot the franchise in 2009, but the game was poorly received, and it's unlikely much more will come out of it.
