Beatrix Potter

Helen Beatrix Potter (1866-07-28 - 1943-12-22) was an author, illustrator, and natural scientist. She is best known for her children's books, especially the Peter Rabbit universe. She published 29 books while she was alive, and her unfinished stories are still being published posthumously with various illustrators and editors.

Personal

I learned about Beatrix Potter from a compilation book of her work my mother read to me as a child. I really enjoyed her stories and marveled at her gorgeous illustrations.
