Art, for this purposes of this Wiki, includes physical mediums like painting, drawing, sculpture, and the like. I do view writing, music, theatre, and even the creation of video games as art as well, but I distinguish between them enough to give them their own pages.
I've been a fan of art ever since I was a child. I started taking classes specifically for art in middle school and continued in high school. Though I was generally better than my classmates, I knew that I wasn't that great, and I didn't want to pursue a career in art because I preferred computers. I still occasionally paint and draw, but I'm now more focused on graphic design. However, I still love looking at art in museums and galleries. I also appreciate other forms of media that employ beautiful art like Magic: The Gathering.
