An Amiga 500.

The Amiga is a family of home computers created by Commodore International and first released on 1985-07-23. The computer hardware was largely designed by Jay Miner who, in addition to using a Motorola 68000 CPU, included powerful graphics and audio processors which allowed the Amiga to produce superior media than every other home computer on the market. The Amiga saw a fair amount of success and was one of the big players during the late 1980s with thousands of software titles, but despite being more powerful that other computers and quite affordable, the Amiga never really displaced the PC market.

Personal

I didn't know much about the Amiga until long after it had become obsolete, but, after reading about it, I was very impressed by the computer, and probably would have been a big fan had I had access to one at the time.

I have never owned an Amiga or even used them very much.

Software
