Adventure Hero's Books (アドベンチャーヒーローブックス) was a series of children's books based on popular video games, television shows, and anime. The books were published by Keibunsha from 1985-1988 exclusively in Japan. Different formats were used for different books, including standard mangas, puzzle books, and branching-plot game books.
I first learned about this series after stumbling across book number 31, an Ultima book. After that, I searched online and found out that there was a whole series. Much like Wanpakku Comics, I really wish these would have been published in the US, because I would have been all over them in the 80s.
