30-Second Quantum Theory
30-Second Quantum Theory: The 50 Most Thought-Provoking Quantum Concepts, Each Explained In Half a Minute is a popular science book about quantum physics edited by Brian Clegg and published in 2015. The book describes 50 different ideas in the world of quantum physics in brief segments, as well as several important scientists ans concepts of the field.
This book was gifted to me by a friend who wanted me to read it to my infant daughters.
I'm currently reading this book.
- The book describes a variety of quantum physics concepts and physicists.
- The huge illustrations are pretty dull; mostly clip art quality.
- Each segment is so short, it doesn't do a very good job of describing the theory and often raises more questions than is answers. I read the whole book, but I don't feel like I gained any new insight into the field.
