Game
Mario Kart 64 is one of the better racing games for the Nintendo 64. Up to four players may pick one of the eight different racers and drive through the 16 racing tracks or the 4 battle tracks. Throughout the race, players will pickup bonuses that can be used to boost your speed, protect your kart, or hinder your opponents. Those who played this game in its prime know how competitive it makes people, and more than one controller was hurled in anger.
Music
To be honest, most of the music for Mario Kart 64 isn't that good. Unlike most games, where the music is meant to play an active role, the music of Mario Kart 64 was only meant to be a backdrop to the racing action. In fact, few players ever really notice the music over the roar of the engines, shouts of their characters, and crashes from the power-ups. Because of this, a lot of the music is pretty bland and unobtrusive, though the fanfares are quite noticeable. Some of the more memorable tunes include the Moo Moo Farm, Rainbow Road, and the Victory Lap.
Ripping
Ripping Nintendo 64 music is a very arduous process that is beyond the scope of this site.
