Game

Xatax is a fairly standard scrolling shoot-em-up with several power-ups to get, enemies to blast, and levels to conquer. As with most shumps, you're the last chance your home world has at destroying an unstoppable threat. The plot is cliché, but time-tested, and the game is fun, but a little on the difficult side.

Music

The music, like the game, is decent. It's fitting for the theme of the game, but nothing to write home about.

Ripping

The FTF files were ripped from the Xatax.res files using Frenkel Smeijers' PPExt program. When an FTF player becomes available the Vorbis soundtrack will be posted.
