Reviews
Game
Tiger-Heli is an earlier scrolling shoot-em-up where you control a helicopter. It follows the basic strategy of early shumps: kill everything on the screen and avoid the bullets. The NES port isn't very impressive. The graphics are very primative, there is no animation to speak of, and the game has a very boring pace. Maneuvering the ship is a pain because it's so slow, the power-ups are uninspired, and the music is lame. The game doesn't even have an end, it just keeps repeating itself. There are many better shumps on the NES to choose from.
Music
With a soundtrack of only five songs, three of which are fanfares, you can't really expect much from the music. It's repetitive and bland. The music changes when you pick up a little heli, which is a nice touch, but aside from that, the entire game uses the same boring music.
Ripping
Ripping NES music is a very arduous process that is beyond the scope of this site.
