Game
Tecmo Bowl was by far the best football game of its day. It featured the real names of real football players, and most of the rules of professional football, but it wouldn't be until Super Tecmo Bowl that a Nintendo game would be licensed by the NFL. Although it lacked some major football issues like touchbacks, fumbles, and secondaries, Tecmo Bowl was a solid game and a lot of fun to play.
Music
You wouldn't expect much in the music department from a sports game, but Tecmo Bowl did a pretty good job with that as well. Most of the music is in the form of short fanfares, but they're all fun to listen to and quite memorable.
This game contains a tiny bit of hidden music as well. The tune for when you fail to get a field goal or extra point (No Good) is slightly longer in the ROM than what you hear while playing. The full version is recorded as track 22. There are also three unknown tracks listed that don't seem to be played anywhere in the game. If any one knows when these tunes are played please let us know.
Ripping
Ripping NES music is a very arduous process that is beyond the scope of this site.
