Game
Operation: Inner Space is an interesting 2-D space shooter in which you pilot a ship that has been shrunk down to fit inside your computer. Instead of having pre-setup missions like with most games, Operation: Inner Space dynamically generates missions based off of the contents of your hard drive. You must collect icons from your favorite programs and try and protect them from getting attacked by viruses. You also get to race other ships, create alliances with other factions, and battle the inner demon for control of your computer. While the controls take a little while to get used to, the game is a lot of fun.
Music
Although Operation: Inner Space only has four songs, they are well composed. They have a nice amateur orchestration to them and use a varied set of instruments.
Ripping
The type 1 MIDI files are simply installed into the Sounds folder from the root of the install. They were recorded with Winamp.
