Game
Metroid is a very fun adventure platform game where you play the role of a bounty hunter names Samus Aran who is trying to stop a ruthless band of space pirates from breeding a terrible army of the deadly alien known as the metroid. In the game you'll find power-ups like the ability to mold your body into a ball and jump higher. You'll also find special weapons like the ice beam, wave beam, missiles, and bombs. As you work your way through the labyrinth of rocky cave, organic tunnels, and futuristic corridors you'll battle with some of the most deadly alien criminals in the world, Kraid, Ridley, and Mother Brain.
Music
The music is above average for a game from 1986, but certainly doesn't compare to the digital quality of today's games. However, there is a nice amount of craft put into the tunes, especially the title and ending music.
Ripping
Ripping NES music is a very arduous process that is beyond the scope of this site.
