Game
Blake Stone is a FPS that used an improved Wolfenstein 3D engine and placed you in a futuristic sci-fi theme instead of a historic WWII. Although several improvements were made to the technical aspects of the game design like textured floors and ceilings and diminished lighting, Blake Stone didn't feel as polished as its predecessor. The graphics were just a little too cartoony which took away from the added terror of realism. There's just not as much excitement in having a brown blob throw green globs at you when you could be turning the corner with a mini gun blasting away at Nazis.
Music
Although the 3D engine had been improved the sound engine remained the same AdLib quality. Bobby Prince did his usual above-average musical work, which is fitting for the game. Nothing really spectacular, but still good enough for a listen to.
Ripping
The IMF files were ripped from the AudioHed.BS6 and AudioT.BS6 files using DarkOne's Wolfenstein music ripper. The titles have been extrapolated from the file names in the IMF files, but are most likely wrong. Bobby Prince may know the correct titles of the tracks.
