Impulse Tracker (*.it) Description IT is the native format used by Impulse Tracker, a sample based digital audio tracker written entirely in x86 assembly by Jeffrey "Pulse" Lim. The format is similar to MOD with a few technical improvements. Winamp's mod plugin will play IT files, but it doesn't support all of the extended features of the format.
