 Description
Digital Sound and Music Interface AMF is a tracked format like MOD, only it supports a great number of additional features. AMF, like other tracked formats, can store digital audio samples instead of just notes the way MIDI works. This allows AMF to sound better than MIDI without the need of an expensive MIDI synthesizer. Due to the extra digital samples AMF is larger than MIDI, but smaller than digital audio.
