Larry Anthony Mollick II

Biography

Home Country: - USA

Aliases: Anthony Mollick

Larry Anthony Mollick II was born on December 22nd, 1966 and goes by the name Tony Mollick. He was born into a family of music talent spanning several generations and was told that he was singing even before he could properly talk. He was raised listening to his parent's doo-wop 45s and the old blues based rock n' roll influenced his life greatly.

Tony went to college at Pennsylvania State University and met Jim Namestka (who would later go on to start Event Horizon Software). Then, with the works of BB King, Chuck Berry and, Bo Diddley as a guide, Tony began to pursue music in earnest and in 1989 he graduated from the Musician's Institute in Hollywood California.

After graduating, Anthony Mollick found work in the videogame music arena when his old fraternity brother Jim Namestka secured him a job with his company. His job was to create full classical compositions for the old 8 bit soundcards of the time (a very difficult prospect), an experience that he remembers fondly. Event Horizon later became DreamForge Intertainment after finding out that the name "Event Horizon" was also the name of a notorious pornography publisher. A little while after the name change DreamForge hired Jamie McMenemy to do MIDI music and Tony decided to explore the realm of Foley and voice work.

DreamForge Intertainment closed its doors after their publishing company went out of business and Tony began more conventional musical pursuits including building guitars and playing in bands. Tony's previous band was called The Groove Junkies, which released an album called "It Ain't Pretty". His current band, the Tony Mollick Project, has an album out called "Blues Catharsis".

Tony says that his favorite bands are the Allman Brothers and Cactus and the music that he is most proud of are his compositions in the game Darkspyre.

Aside from music Tony also is interested in the occult, having written two books titled "The Life of the Sorcerer's Apprentice" and "Living With Magick in a Mundane World".
