Rob Zombie is the stage name of Robert Bartlehe Cummings. He was born on January 12, 1965 in Haverhill, Massachusetts, U.S.A. All of his life, Zombie has been interested in music and horror movies. In 1985, Rob Zombie formed the band White Zombie, a noise rock group which specialized in songs about the occult. In 1998, Rob Zombie began his solo career which led to the disbanding of White Zombie. Rob Zombie is also a film writer and director for such films as House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, and the 2007 remake of Halloween. Rob Zombie's music is heavily influenced by some of his favorite bands which include The Ramones, The Misfits, Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, and Metallica.
