Keiji Yamagishi worked for Tecmo, Ltd. from 1989 until around 1991. During this time he composed the soundtracks to several of Tecmo's games, especially the upbeat sports anthems. After leaving Tecmo, Keiji worked for Koei for a little while and then for Capcom.
