Jochen Hippel is from Kirchheimbolanden, Germany. He worked freelance on some of his early games, but eventually became an employee of Thalion Software where he composed music for their hit game Amberstar among others. He released an album called "Give it a Try" which featured remixes of his more popular videogame tunes. He is most popular in the Atari ST and Amiga scenes.
