William Brown Biography Aliases: None Home Country: USA Bill Brown was inspired to study music after hearing the works of John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, and John Barry as well as his own work with synthesizers. In 1986, he moved from New York, New York to Boston, Massachusetts and attended the Berklee College of Music. While he was studying he became impressed with Paul Hindemith, Shostakovich, Bartok, Pendereki and English composer Ralph Vaughn Williams. In 1991, Brown graduated from the Berklee College of Music with a degree that encompassed knowledge of jazz theory and composition, song writing, modern theory and orchestration, and film composition. After graduation, Brown moved back to New York, but then, shortly after, to Hollywood California where he now works from his private studio. He has scored many films including "Any Given Sunday", "Ali", and "Undying", as well as some TV shows like "Trapped" and "CSI: NY". Outside of film, Brown also scores videogames and has several to his credit. Outside of classical composers, Brown likes the music of The Doobie Brothers, Stevie Wonder, and Prince. Brown composes most of his music using Apple's Logic Pro 8 software.
