The soundtrack of another one of Kenta Cho's exciting shoot-em-ups is now online. The music from the vector-based, bullets-flying-everywhere, Galaga-esque, Titanion is now online and ready to be heard. Enjoy some more of that amazing Japanese fluid techno.

The soundtrack from the exciting, if obscure, 2-D space action/adventure Operation: Inner Space is now online. It's interesting theme and retro Asteroids-esque controls will captivate all you retro gamers out there. There is also a page now for the game's composer, Doug Blackley.

The heavy metal soundtrack from the Macintosh port of Wolfenstein 3D is now available for you to download. It's amazing what two years of progress and a platform that included high-quality audio hardware can do to a game's soundtrack. The Mac music, composed by Brian Luzietti, has a much higher quality sound. Unfortunately, there are fewer tracks, and the metal doesn't exactly mesh with a World War II theme. Even still, it's worth the download if you're a fan of the game.

The music from the exceedingly, annoyingly, and painfully difficult game, Ghosts 'N Goblins is now available for download. It includes all of the music from the game as well as a couple unused tracks. And that wraps up all I can do for composer Ayako Mori. Her gameography is complete until someone rips her music from the arcaded games she composed for.

The latest soundtrack comes from the NES port of the arcade classic, Trojan. Want to relive extreme frustration? Want to remember smashing your controller down and cussing out your Nintendo? Well, just listen to a few of these tracks and you'll rekindle those painful memories of the early NES games that were freaking impossible. Trojan's music is a link between the days when Capcom had crappy music like 1942, to the days when they ruled the sound waves with Mega Man II.

Welcome to the Videogame Music Preservation Foundation, a site where the music of videogames is kept alive by making it available for listening in the original formats as well as newer digital formats.

Although releasing soundtracks for videogames has become common practice these days, earlier game music fans didn't give the luxury of being able to listen to a game's music at any time. This site is a reaction to that problem. We try to create soundtracks for games that never had them and more accurate soundtracks for the games that do.
