The Characters
You will meet many strange people throughout the land. Some of them play an important role, while others are just plain annoying. Some will try and help you, others may hinder you. Here is a description of all the people you will meet.

The brave warrior who took this quest to save the kingdom of Alefgard. You are a descendant of Erdrick, only you can't yet prove it. |
| King Lorik XVI |  |
The leader of this realm. He rules the area, and asks you to restore order to the land. If you die, he will resurrect you. (And charge you a fortune!) |
| Princess Gwaelin |  |
The lovely daughter of Lorik. Recently she has been abducted by the Dragonlord's minions. Only rumors know her where abouts. |
| The Dragonlord |  |
The ultimate enemy. He is the man who stole the Ball of Light from King Lorik. It is your quest to defeat him to restore peace to the land! |
| Nester |  |
A very confused person. I'm not sure if there is supposed to be a connection between this character, and the Nintendo Power cartoon or not, but they share the same name. |
| Wynn | |
See this man in Cantlin for information regarding Erdrick's Armor. |
| Orwick | |
Hmm. This guy should really start writing down the places he is supposed to meet his girlfriends. |

She doesn't seem to be to pleased with her boyfriend. (I'm not sure what this inside joke is about.) |

Blue and white people. Once in awhile they will have some good advice. Usually they babble on incoherently. |
| Guards |  |
They guard castles and cities. Take heed of their words, they've lived through many battles. |
| Wise Men |  |
Usually very wise, but sometimes they can get on your nerves. |
| Soldiers |  |
Red guys with swords and shields. They've been around, and can usually tell you where the happening place to be is. |
| Merchants |  |
The fat guys in green and yellow. They are usually trying to sell you something. The only people who tell you life isn't pain (Watch the Princess Bride if you didn't catch that one!) |
| Women | |
If you came to Alefgard to get a variety of women, you will be disappointed. Every single woman looks exactly the same. |
