Halloweeeen is a basic Shockwave game setup like an action platformer. You control a ghost out trick-or-treating and you must safely navigate your way to the goal while avoiding or jumping on evil jack o'lanterns, giant spiders, and flying witches. The game is pretty basic, and can be completed in a few minutes. |

This game is an interesting adventure game in Flash. You play a ghost who is arisen from his grave for some unknown reason. You must explore the small town to find out what's going on. Uses a simple interface with only three controls, look, touch, and item. Everything is point and click. The game has nice artistic graphics and a bit of humor. Even with such a simple interface, the game can be a little difficult to follow when you explore the map. |

This is a basic paper doll java game. It allows you to move shapes around on a pumpkin to create different faces on a jack o'lantern. Nothing too spectacular, simple enough for a child. It's like a Mr. Potatohead for pumpkins. |

While not a game with a Halloween theme, The 7th Guest is one of the scariest games you'll ever play. Solve the fiendish puzzles of the mad toymaker, Henry Stauff, as to learn what happened in his horrible mansion many years ago where seven guests entered, but none left. The game contains plenty of full-motion video cut scenes as well as eerie music composed by the Fat Man. Can your nerves make it to the final puzzle? |

This Sierra-like adventure game was created by David P. Gray and features a nice haunted house theme. There are many elements of Halloween put into the game, bats, jack-o-lanterns, vampires, mummies, mad scientists, etc. You control Hugo, and your girlfriend has been kidnapped. You must make your way through the haunted house to rescue her. |

Nitemare 3D is a first-person shooter with a haunted mansion theme to it. It stars the hero of Hugo's House of Horror, but this time he packs heat. The game has very little blood and, as far as first-person shooters go, is very tame and non-violent. I was never really that impressed by the game, I feel it moves a little too slow, and the weak violence is kind of dull. |

The 11th Hour is the sequel to The 7th Guest. It is just as scary as the first with all new clever puzzles, higher quality cut scenes, and spine-chilling music. Some of the new puzzles feature competent artificial intelligences that you must match wits with. It has been several years since Stauff's mansion was deserted. The place is falling apart, but the angry spirits will never rest until you are able to save your girlfriend from the sick ghost of Henry Stauff. |
