Battlestar Galactica began as a sci-fi television series in 1978 with a couple tie-in movies and had a spin-off in 1980. It had a pretty strong cult following, which led to a revival miniseries in 2003
and a new series in 2004. The earlier series failed to produce a videogame, but the 2003 series did.

Battlestar
Battlestar is based off of the original TV series logo. A modified version was used for the 2003 version, but they're similar. It was created by Mark F. Heiman.
