Gary Gygax Ernest Gary Gygax was born in 1938. He is most famous for his work in the gaming industry. Along with Don Kaye he is one of the original two founders of Tactical Studies Rules, later called TSR, Inc.. He co-wrote the Dungeons and Dragons game system with Dave Arneson.
