Dragon Quest
Dragon Quest is a series of RPG video games created by Enix. When Enix went to publish the game in America they found that another company in the USA,
TSR, Inc., already had a product called Dragon Quest, so Enix choose Dragon Warrior to prevent any copyright issues.

Other products carry the Dragon Quest / Dragon Warrior name including a series of comics and mangas.
Although the RPG market had been going strong on the PC for years, console systems didn't have any RPG's. Dragon Quest is often regarded as the first RPG for console game
systems with the release of the first Dragon Quest in 1986.
