Douglas Adams

Douglas Noel Adams was born in Cambridge, England, UK on March 11th, 1952. He attended Brentwood School, Essex and later St John's College, Cambridge. He received his Bachelors degree in English Literature in 1974, and later his Masters.

He was an author who wrote many great books including the award winning Hitchhiker Series and the Dirk Gently Series. He also wrote The Long Dark Teatime of the Soul, and co-wrote The Meaning of Liff and The Deeper Meaning of Liff. He also wrote the nonfiction book Last Change to See.

He also helped create the award-winning adventure game Starship Titanic.

Douglas died unexpectedly on May 11th, 2001 from a heart attack, and his last book, The Salmon of Doubt, was published posthumous.
