Sword and Shield Technique
Sword and shield is a very useful combination that was used for centuries. The sword is an amazing weapon to begin with, but put that in conjunction with the defensive ability of the shield, and you have a fighting force to be reckoned with. There is no law stating that you have to use a sword with a shield, you can use any weapon that you can easily wield with one hand. The sword, however, is often the most ideal weapon because of its versitility. So what is so great about a shield? Well for starters it gives you amazing added defense. With that added defense you no longer have to dodge or parry from an attack, you can simply block it and counter-attack. This will make you very well equipped to fight people with only one weapon. You also have a great means at blocking arrows and throwing weapons with ease. Also, (if the rules allow) you can shield bash! So with all these great new new abilities where do you start?
