Xiph.Org Foundation
The Xiph.Org Foundation is a non-profit corporation dedicated to creating open-source patent-free multimedia formats to replace the existing propriety formats that are currently used. Xiph.Org created the Ogg container and is in charge of setting its standards. They also created the Vorbis audio compression format and the CDParanoia libraries. Links |
